SITE DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Coordinate client relations and job activities, review plans, develop and maintain budgets, assist with proposals, coordinate group meetings, minimal design work, mentor subordinates, will have direct reports. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Current PE License
•15 years experience in commercial, residential, and industrial land development
•BSCE or equivalent from an accredited college or university
•Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD preferably with LDD
•Good Communication and interpersonal skills
•Must be willing to participate in all phases of project completion (client relations, task delegation, drafting, budgeting, change orders, bid packages, etc.)
•Prior survey experience is a plus
•Must be eligible to work in the United States

TRAFFIC ENGINEER
This position supports the Transportation and Planning Departments through design of traffic signals, traffic systems, traffic control, urban and high-speed maintenance of traffic, capacity and operations analysis, traffic studies, and data collection. This job manages the workflow of traffic projects through these departments while training and mentoring staff. Also responsible for the upkeep of traffic equipment.
•7 years minimum experience
•BSCE
•PE License
•ODOT certification in one or more of the following: Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Signals, Interchange Justification, Highway Lighting, Signings & Markings, Safety Studies
••Proficiency using SignCADD, AutoCADD, MicroStation, HCS, Synchro
•Project Management experience
COORDINATOR CONSULTANT
Consultant needed to write and administer grants and loans for water and sewer projects. Funding types include Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA), Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Federal STAG and 594 appropriations among others. Knowledge of some or all of these funding sources is preferred.
ROADWAY ENGINEER
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead design and manage team in roadway, drainage, traffic control & maintenance of traffic on state DOT, county, and city jobs. Manage client relations, budget, scheduling and workload distribution between engineers and drafters. Responsible for: roadway, design tasks, review, and checking.
Qualifications:
•5+ years experience in roadway engineering
•PE License
•BSCE from accredited college or university
•Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word) , AutoCAD, & Microstation/GeoPak
•Good Communication and interpersonal skills
•Must be willing to participate in all phases of project completion (client relations, task delegation, design, plan preparation, budgeting, change orders, bid packages, etc.)
• Synchro/traffic experience a plus

FALL TERM CO-OP
A potential co-op student can expect to learn about the design and construction of civil engineering and transportation projects from conception through construction. Prospective interns will be trained in the latest civil and roadway design packages. Students have the opportunity to see firsthand how projects are constructed and learn the basics of good design. With increased work proficiency, students will be assigned small projects or portions of a project to design and develop independently.
INTERNSHIP DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:
Assist project engineers and project managers with city, county, and state engineering projects involving: plan drafting & preparation (AutoCAD and MicroStation), design work (as drafting skill allows), survey, and inspection.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
•Available to work 40 hours Fall 2008
•Previous drafting experience in AutoCAD or Microstation
•Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
•Grade Point Average of 2.5+
•Must be eligible to work in the United States
